How To Join Fairview Baptist Church

join our church

Joining a church is a significant step of obedience and fellowship for a believer. The Scriptures picture the church as the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:27), and becoming a member means committing to that body in love, accountability, and service. Christians typically recognize several biblically grounded ways to join a church:

BY FAITH

You may join BY FAITH, Repenting of sin and puts your trust in Jesus by accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior.  Then, following the example of Jesus, be baptized as the public profession of your faith.

BY BAPTISM

You may join BY BAPTISM if you are coming from a church in another denomination and have already accepted Jesus Christ as Savior but have not yet been baptized by immersion. Matthew 28:19

BY LETTER

You may come BY LETTER, which means to transfer your membership from another Baptist church.  We will contact your previous church and notify them of your desire to transfer membership. Romans 16:1-2

BY STATEMENT OF FAITH

You may join BY STATEMENT OF FAITH if records of your membership in a Baptist church are unavailable or if you were previously a Baptist and are now coming from a different denomination.
